More than a meal. Every evening, families at the Ronald McDonald House gather to share a warm, home-cooked dinner. These meals give families a moment to breathe, connect, and nourish their bodies and spirits amid hospital visits and treatments.
Join us for a rewarding volunteer opportunity to prepare and serve a delicious meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House! This hands-on experience is wonderful for team building with your colleagues, a meaningful activity for school groups (ages 12+), a way to connect with your church or civic group, or even a unique and impactful way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or any gathering of up to 6 people.
Our Chef will handle meal planning, ordering ingredients, preparing for your group’s arrival, and guiding you along the way. At the end of the event, your group will have helped prepare a home-cooked meal for our guest families and stock our fridge with grab-and-go options for the week.

Sponsor Spoonful of Hope for recognition and group volunteer cooking opportunities.

Of course! Pictures in our common areas or grounds are welcome. Out of respect for their privacy, photos of our guest families are not permitted unless taken by a staff person.
Due to the size of our commercial kitchen, we are not able to accommodate groups larger than 6 people. You can browse our other volunteer opportunities here.
