Dominic is a seasoned finance executive with over 25 years of experience in financial services, including expertise in corporate strategy, M&A, financial planning, and operational leadership.  Dominic joined The Bancorp in 2025 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Dominic most recently served as EVP and CFO of Capital Bank from 2024 to 2025, and EVP and CFO of WSFS Bank from 2016 through 2023 as well as the executive leader of WSFS’s Cash Connect division from 2019 through 2023. Mr. Canuso has also served in leadership roles at other companies, including Barclays Bank Delaware, Advanta Bank, and Arthur Andersen. In addition, Mr. Canuso serves on Nasdaq’s Listing and Hearing Review Council, a position he has held since April 2022. He is a CFA Charter holder and holds an Executive MBA and B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University.
